HISTORY
Career & origins of Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz was born in Germany and rose to become one of the most dominant Super High Roller tournament players in the world during the mid-2010s. A meticulous student of the game, he combined elite GTO preparation with the mental fortitude to perform at his best in the highest-pressure situations against the strongest fields.
His Super High Roller results during his prime were staggering — multiple wins and final tables in the world's most exclusive events, accumulating over $32 million in live tournament earnings while still in his mid-twenties. He was widely regarded as one of the two or three best tournament players on the planet during this period.
In 2017, Holz stepped back from professional poker to pursue entrepreneurship, founding Primed Mind — a mental performance and mindset coaching app. He has returned to the tables periodically since then, often performing at an elite level even with reduced volume. His story of achieving extraordinary success at a young age, then deliberately stepping away to pursue a broader life, resonates with many in the poker world.
