ABOUT
The European Poker Tour was founded in 2004 by John Duthie and organized under the PokerStars umbrella, quickly growing into the most prestigious live poker circuit in Europe. EPT Barcelona — held each August — is among the largest poker festivals in the world, attracting over 20,000 entries across its many events.
EPT stops are held in some of Europe's most spectacular locations: the Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco, the Hilton Prague in the Czech Republic, the Casino de Estoril in Portugal, and the PokerStars Festival Dublin, among others. The glamorous settings, combined with high production standards and PokerStars' enormous online qualifier pipeline, attract player fields from across the globe.
The EPT High Roller events — featuring €25,000 to €100,000 buy-ins — have become fixtures on the super high roller calendar, attracting the world's elite professionals alongside wealthy recreational players. EPT champions have included Liv Boeree (San Remo 2010), Adrian Mateos, and many other celebrated names in European and international poker.
How to Qualify
