ABOUT
The Brazilian Series of Poker was launched in 2008 and has grown into the dominant live tournament circuit in Latin America, attracting tens of thousands of entries each season across stops in multiple Brazilian cities. São Paulo, Florianópolis, and other major centers host stops that have become essential dates on the Brazilian poker calendar.
The BSOP has played a critical role in developing the infrastructure of Brazilian poker — creating a competition pathway that takes players from local games through regional events to international competition. Many of Brazil's greatest international poker successes — Yuri Dzivielevski, Andre Akkari, Brunno Botteon, Felipe Ramos, and Rodrigo Selouan — built their foundations through the BSOP circuit before taking on the world.
The Brazilian poker community is among the most passionate and fastest-growing in the world, and the BSOP has both reflected and accelerated that growth. The series' combination of accessible buy-ins, spectacular locations, and the excitement of a deeply poker-passionate culture makes it one of the most entertaining live poker experiences anywhere.
How to Qualify
Satellites run at Brazilian casino venues and online through PokerStars and GGPoker. Buy-ins are accessible for Brazilian players at all experience levels.
